Meet Charlotte, Chief Happiness Officer

Charlotte is one of the inspiring members of our pet team at Pet Protect & Connect. Once a foster pet of our founder, she was adopted by a family member and remains a cherished fur family member. Charlotte's journey began as a stray on the streets of Texas, where she faced significant abuse with signs of having a litter of puppies taken from her. Then, she survived heartworm treatment as a foster pup. Despite these hardships, she makes friends everywhere she goes.

Charlotte's Story

Charlotte when she was found in Texas - before rescue

Charlotte is a sweet and silly pup, despite enduring severe abuse, including being kicked, beaten, and even shot with BBs. She was rescued from harsh streets in Texas and placed in boarding until an animal rescue brought her to safety. Upon arrival in Connecticut, Charlotte was diagnosed with heartworm disease. After months of treatment, she stole the hearts of friends she made while in her foster home - and finally found her forever home.

She loves people and thrives on human interaction. Full of energy, Charlotte enjoys walks, hikes, and playing. She has a unique and charming personality, often jumping on furniture and getting excited during playtime. Weighing in at a small but mighty 45 pounds, she is strong and enthusiastic.

Charlotte is a heartworm survivor, a lover of long walks and car rides, and a master of couch cuddling. She overcame incredible odds and still showers everyone she meets with love and affection.
